My travel to the south This year I traveled to the south of Chile, specifically, Calbuco, Puerto Montt. It was amazing. I didn’t know Puerto Montt and Calbuco and now I love that places. All the flora, fauna and landscapes are amazing too. I traveled with a friend and her mom. The trip started arriving at Puerto Montt, where we took a bus to go to Calbuco to the house of a friend of her mom. Then we leave our stuffs in a room in which we were going to sleep and stay this journey. We ate fish the first day, then we took a barge to take a walk to a nearby island, and it was so cheap, just 500 pesos.   The second day we went to the Lago Llanquihue, we bathe and met beautiful landscapes. Other day we bought a ticket to travel to Ensenada, we went to Isla Loreley and we took a boat trip around the Island. Then we met the Laguna Verde. Until now everything has been amazing. My favorite subject I really don’t have a favorite subject this semester because what has happened   this year has been very bad, with many problems in some subjects, due to teachers, methodology or the subject itself. I´m very disappointed of the career and faculty in some areas, specially in terms of administration and pedagogy, there are many irregularities, negligence, little commitment, among other things. However, there are some subjects which are very interesting like Musical Analysis and Musical Practice. In Analysis we have to know and investigate about many types of music, know the different characteristic of the musical periods and based on that analyze musical pieces under different parameters. In Musical Practice we can play whatever we want, do arrangements the way we want. Its useful to distract me.   There are 2 persons that i like and who belongs to my favourite band, they are Tim Rice-Oxley and Tom Chaplin from Keane. I will write about the pianist and composer of this band, Tim. He was born in Oxford, England in 1976. He started play piano when he was teen and played clasical music but this bored him so he started to play   what he wants. Then he started to do classes to his friend and vocalist of the band, Tom Chaplin, who knows from school. And here was when they created the band. As a said, he is the founder and composer of Keane, he compose almost all song of this band, except a few which were composed by Tom Chaplin and Richar Hughes, the drummer. He also has been collaborations composing whit artista like Gwen Stefani, Kylie Minogue and other artists. I like him because I consider his compositions are great, especially the songs less know.                                                                      Just 2 things. We all have interest in something that bring us to know more of that themes or dedicate our lives to that things. Themes like the music, politic, sports, environment, social problems, etc. I would like write about 2 things that I like and which are full of predujices. Are music and football. The music is something that almost every enjoy, in one way or another, for the other hand football is a sport that produces love and hate. However this 2 disciplines have many things in common. I really don’t   have a favorite movie, because I like a lot of movies so I can decide only one, its like if you ask me if a have a favorite song, I don’t have it, but there moments when I prefer one song or one movie of the rest of the others. I like movies of many genders, like historical movies, science fiction, superheroes, indies, etc. I can´t decide only one because there are many good genders. The last movie that I saw was The Pianist (I know that is an old movie, but I had never seen it complete and I love it. I love the soundtrack, the performances, it´s so emotive. I like how the movie mix the historic context with the life of a musician. How his talent saved his life. It´s a good movie. I would like someday have the choice to compose the soundtrack of a movie, I think that it´s almost as important as the movie, because can give a unique atmosphere to the movie and  you can transmit emotions and cause very intense sensations with the music.

My Favorite Piece of Technology. I don´t use many pieces of technology really, but there’s one that I used to use and it’s my PC. I got it since 3 years ago, when with my brother we sold our Ps3 to buy a PC, basically to play videogames. But months lather our PC stop working because the motherboard burned it with other components xd. Then we gather money to repair it, with our scholarships and his job, but we decided later buy new pieces and use what remained to assemble a “new” Pc. I use my Pc to play videogames, study, work with Finale, watch videos, etc. I use it almost every day, after the university, weekends. I like it because it gives me a lot of utilities when I have free time, when I have to study or investigate about something, when I want to create or listen music too. Probably my life without this would be the same, because, even though I use a lot of my time playing or study, it isn’t really important to do my life and probably I would have bought ...

Why I choose this career? I dreamed when I was a child be an astronaut, because it was interesting for me. I wanted to know the space, moon, and travel through the space and to new planets, explore unknown places, but the science didn’t like me too much.   Then, when I was 13 I started to listen a lot of music of many styles. For that reason I started to play the guitar and learning songs, then I started love music. Before choose this career I also has been like study English, cause it was easy for me. Some related of videogames, , Journalism or History. I decided to study Music because it was for me something that I enjoy to do, playing songs, singing. More than the other options that I thought.
